Not Dependable Service At All!!!

On March 23 at around 8:00 pm, we were without power until 4:00 am the next morning. It did no good to call Pepco because the outage was known and affected over 400 customers. On April 4 at around 11:30 pm, without any warning whatsoever, the power went out and when I called Pepco, I learned that the power outage was "scheduled," but I received no advance notice of it. I learned that we will be without power until 6:00 am on April 5! This is "scheduled" and we get no warning in advance?!?!? I have medical equipment that requires electricity so that I can use it. Saying that the outage was "scheduled" and not notifying the customers is in itself unconscionable, but leaving a person with a medical condition to stay awake all night with no prior warning borders on criminal. There is no excuse for the total disregard for Pepco customers. Pepco expects payment on time for leaving customers without power for hours with no prior warning. This kind of behavior borders on bullying the customers. Do they expect the customers who are left in the dark without prior warning to sing their praises?

Calling to many times and trying to get someone to resolve this issue was ridiculous, seems like employees were lax in getting the right resolve for the issue. like nobody want to be bothered.

We had a new box and line put in on November 9th.

We had a new electrical panel and a new main electrical line put in on November 9, 2020. It is now March 22, 2021 and still pepco has not come to hook it up. We contacted our electrician company and they called pepco to do so several times. Pepco still has not responded to their requests for hook up. We pay our bills on time and it would be nice if pepco would do their part and show up to hook up the line. 4 months is too damn long.

DOUBLE BILLING!

I checked my bank online account and found that Pepco had double billed me. I called and they admitted that they had double billed an unspecified number of customers and would "try" to fix it today. They don't even seem to care how incompetent they are. States should levy BIG fines against utilities who do things like double bill (and levy another fine if they try to pass the fine onto consumers) - maybe then they would take better care of customers' accounts.

My name is Sara. And I'm one of those who's been over billed by pepco for the past 3 years. They came to change the meter and didn't billed me for few months. Suddenly I just got billed and paid for what they said I owed. After that, it came out that the meter readings were wrong, and they charged me almost $3330.00 Make me go for a payment arrangement, so I did and been paying extra every month since. But it wasn't enough. They just came and disconnected the service. Called the company and theye were telling me different stories about the disconnection. Now they want me to pay $1,400.00 so I can can service again. Can't believe there's no other choice for electricity supply but this thieves.
